Model

In 2-of-3, buyer, vendor and market each hold a key. Release needs two signatures. That limits a single-party walk-away compared with fully custodial escrow, but it does not remove phishing or FE risk.

Finalize-early

FE tags skip the dispute window. Treat them as a higher-risk vendor choice even on a 4.0/5 UI. New accounts should stay in escrow.

Deposit hygiene

• Fund from a wallet you control, not an exchange KYC withdrawal into the market.
• Confirm the deposit address on the same onion you verified.
• Watch the header rates only as a sanity check against USD.
